Live in an LA galaxy not so far away! Star Wars-themed mansion hits the market for $26.5 million and it comes with a replica of the cantina scene from Episode IV, movie theater and lifesize Darth Vader and C-3PO figures
- 18,200 sq ft property has huge basement stocked with works inspired by Skywalker saga
- Owner will part with extensive Star Wars Collection for additional sum on top of house asking price
- Space designed to give visitors a sense they are on planet Tatooine where Luke Skywalker grew up
A luxury LA mansion complete with life-size replicas of some of the Star Wars franchise's most loved characters is up for grabs for any fans of the sci-films - at a cost of at least $26.5 million.
The 18,200sq ft property has a huge basement stocked with incredible works inspired by the Skywalker saga.
It includes life-size figures of Darth Vader and Yoda and even a re-creation of the iconic cantina scene from the original Star Wars' movies.
The owner, an unidentified semi-retired investor, is willing to part with the collection for an unannounced sum on top of the $26.5 million dollar tag on the house - barring a few pieces that hold sentimental value.
The space is designed to give visitors a sense that they are on the planet Tatooine, where Luke Skywalker grew up.
Beyond this 'Star Wars' universe paradise, the 18,200sq ft home also has a gym, a music studio, a 750-gallon aquarium and a safe room.
The three-acre grounds have an indoor-outdoor pool and spa area with a grotto, waterslide and waterfall.
There's also a tennis court and for more outer-space appeal - an observatory with a 14-inch reflector telescope.
Inside the luxury sci-fi-themed mansion there is also a movie theater, with multiple leather seats and a ceiling that is a model of the cockpit view from a TIE fighter - a single-pilot vehicle that is designed for fast-paced maneuvering in outer-space
The house also comes with a collection of models of key figures from the Star Wars franchise as seen in this foyer outside the movie theater. The gold-colored C-3PO is a multilingual robot created by Anakin Skywalker. The little bot, R2-D2, is a well-known and much loved character who features regularly in the franchise with his characteristic bleep-bloop sound often announcing his arrival
The luxury mansion also recreates the dimly-lit tavern, known as the Mos Eisley cantina, where people often gathered to enjoy a strong drink and music. Located on the sparsely-populated desert planet known as Tatooine, the home of Anakin and Luke Skywalker, the cantina was known as being a good spot to find a spaceship crew
In the back of this room in the multi-million dollar mansion can be seen some key characters from the movie franchise, including a stormtrooper, a member of the Galactic Empire's armed forces, and a Jawa (right), a meter-tall humanoid that was frequently seen combing the desert for scrap materials
Seen in this cavernous space is a red guard, part of the elite organization of bodyguards trained to protect the head of state of the Galactic Republic. The figures in this house were not actually used in the filming of any of the movies, but are simply life-size replicas
Looking at the huge mansion from the front there is little clue to the science-fiction world that opens up before the eyes of any guests visiting the Los Angeles home
The three-acre grounds come compete with an indoor-outdoor pool and spa area with a grotto, waterslide and waterfall. The luxury mansion also comes complete with a large tennis court
The $26.5 million home also has a large music studio complete with various guitar models, drums and top-quality audio equipment
The large indoor-outdoor pool is located at the rear of the house in an idyllic setting, including a grotto, waterfall and waterslide, that gets plenty of light during the day
The various Star Wars-themed figures dotted throughout the house are primarily custom-built replicas, not props that appeared on screen. The unnamed home owner believes the props do not have the same high-quality finish like the replicas he owns
Star Wars memorabilia can be seen throughout the house, with masks, posters, replica weapons, space ships and characters lining the walls and corridors
The dining area inside the house is a little more free from Star Wars memorabilia but still manages to capture an aura of science-fiction with its unique panels, light fixtures and large blue tinted windows
A stormtrooper can be seen guarding the cabinet and staircase, alongside a small games room complete with an arcade machine and foosball table
The owner, who has not been named, appears to have kept some of the living spaces free from Star Wars memorabilia, as seen in this elegant lounge space. The warm glow of the fire offers an inviting aura to visitors who may be privy to a special musical treat played on the grand piano that can be seen in the corner of this image
Within the expansive mansion is a large kitchen complete with a full cooking range, middle kitchen bench, side-bar table and full dining table to cater to any kind of social gathering
The sheer amount of memorabilia is akin to a museum collection, making this home a paradise for any Star Wars fanatics
Adding to the outer-space appeal is an observatory with a 14-inch reflector telescope to give residents in this house to catch their own glimpse of the solar system
