A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: 'The family have asked for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.'
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the collision, in which two further passengers and the driver suffered injuries in the crash.
All three were taken to hospital.
Investigations into the exact circumstances of the collision are ongoing and officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the silver Aygo in the Hamble area prior to the incident.

A local resident, who chose not to be named, told the Daily Echo: 'This is so local and close to home, it's incredibly sad. They need to reduce the speed of the road and kids need to stay away from it, something like this happens once a year! If you hit a tree, it's game over - it's as simple as that.'
When questioned about the 'deadly road', Hamble councillor Malcolm Cross commented: 'It is very so awful for the parents, especially at this time of year.
'My thoughts are with the family, and all of the people who were injured.
'The road really needs to be looked at, it's really dodgy and people need to always drive slowly.'
