This is the stomach-churning moment a king Cobra swallows a baby snake.
Owner Panya Tulyasuk fed his deadly pet a smaller cobra at his home in Krabi, southern Thailand last Sunday.
Footage shows the one-month-old snake named Joey devouring the body of the dead cobra, which it finished within a few minutes.
Panya said: 'Joey is still a baby, so small snakes are the only food he can have. When he's bigger, then we'll feed him with bigger food like chicken meat or frogs.
'He doesn't have to eat every day. Only one snake can make him full up to four to five days.'
The video shows the king cobra slowly devouring the snake beginning to digest the animal while still eating it.
Ssssslowly: The snake devours the baby cobra bit by bit, opening its jaw wide to swallow
Although snakes are vertebrates and do have skeletons snakes are able to digest small bones using muscle contractions and digestive enzymes - any indigestible material will be regurgitated in a pellet.
Cobras naturally feed on whatever smaller animals cross their path in the wild, including other snakes.
Most domesticated snakes are fed on a diet of mice, rather than smaller snakes.
The baby cobra is almost the same width as the king cobra, which eats the baby in its entirety
