Jofra Archer is making the most of a well-earned rest after guiding England to World Cup glory in his native Barbados.

The fast bowler bowled the crucial super over that saw Eoin Morgan's men clinch their maiden world title after a thriller against New Zealand.

And having been granted a week's rest by the ECB ahead of his expected call-up for The Ashes, the 24-year-old is continuing the party instead.

Archer and a group of friends were taking part in the Jovert Morning Jump-Up over the weekend.

He also enjoyed a dance with his girlfriend at the We Ting Bim event during the festivities while covered in paint and wearing a pair of England cricket shorts.

The pair were bumping and grinding at the event held in Bushy Park on the Caribbean island.

Having spearheaded England's bowling attack to World Cup glory already this summer, he is set to be rewarded with a maiden Test call-up.

England host Australia at Edgbaston in the first of five Test Ashes Tests on August 1 and Archer is in the frame for selection.

Despite having only turned eligible for selection earlier this year his impressive performances have made him a near-certainty to be picked.

Archer is able to represent England as he holds a British passport due to his English father, Frank.

He picked up a side strain towards the end of the tournament but is expected to have recovered in time for the start of the Ashes.

The rest of the squad are preparing to play in the inaugural Test against Ireland from July 24 as a warm-up for what is to come.

Archer was called upon to bowl the super over for England in this month's final after the game had ended in a tie.

With 242 required to win Morgan's men were dismissed at the end of the 50th over for 241, taking the match into overtime.

Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler hit 15 runs off their over and the Black Caps could only match it when they batted.

Martin Guptill was run out by wicketkeeper Buttler as he attempted to complete a quick two that would have won the game and the tournament for the Kiwis.
