She said: 'I was minding my own business, walking my dog Mojo when I looked up and just saw the gentleman on one knee presenting a ring.

'I immediately took my phone out and began recording because it was such a beautiful moment to witness. I couldn't hear what they were saying but there was a lot of laughing and smiling.

'You could clearly see she was in shock and had her hands over her mouth. He spent quite a long time on one knee, he must have had a bit of a speech prepared. She said yes and couldn't stop looking at the ring on her hand.

'I would have walked over to them to congratulate them but dogs aren't allowed on the beach.

'It was lovely to witness and I'm genuinely so happy for the couple, I would love for them to see the video. So I have posted it on social media and hope the couple see it.'

She posted on Facebook: Excuse my atrocious filming, but I still can't believe I witnessed this! I didn't have time to stop and show them the video so please help me find them!'
