Jade Goody's close friend reveals star shocked doctors when she carried her crying son Bobby to her hospital bed in her final hours

Jade Goody's close friend has revealed she shocked doctors when she carried her son Bobby, then six, to her hospital bed, just hours before she died from cervical cancer aged 27.

Choreographer Kevin Adams, who served as the late star's personal trainer, told The Sun she was able to cradle her child as her 'kids meant everything to her', despite her weak condition.

Sharing details of her last hours, the fitness enthusiast explained: 'She wasn't eating and the doctor said her health was deteriorating rapidly.'

Her close pal insisted the TV personality defied the odds when she cradled her eldest son Bobby, who is now 15, despite being told she only had a few hours left to live.

Kevin elaborated: 'She got up, walked upstairs and pulled him up onto her back and brought him to her hospital bed.' 

He went on to reveal the doctors failed to believe she had the strength to carry her child as her body was 'failing'.

'She was able to do it because those kids meant everything to her', the Fame Academy star added.

Jade died from cervical cancer aged 27, six months after receiving the tragic diagnosis. She passed away on March 22, 2009.

She shared her boys Bobby and Freddy, 14, with Jeff Brazier, 39, but was no longer in a relationship with him. She married boyfriend Jack Tweed, 31, in the weeks leading up to her death.  

In a recent interview with OK! magazine, her widower Jack revealed he is 'never going to be as happy' with someone as he was with her, stating that 'nobody has ever come close.'

Jack recalled the couple's wedding day, which took place on February 22nd 2009 in Hertfordshire - a month before the reality star passed away. 

He told the publication of the emotional day: ‘It’s still the happiest day of my life’.

The reality star also revealed his feelings for his late wife have never wavered, stating: 'She was 100 million per cent the love of my life.

'Nobody has ever come close to Jade and I don’t see how they ever will. That pain of losing the person you love never goes away.’

‘Jeff stopped me from seeing the boys,' he recalled. 'At that time, I was getting into trouble and I was off the rails - so Jeff was probably right to do that.'
