Kersty, of Addlestone, Surrey, warned other parents against downloading the app in a Facebook post.

She said: 'What sort of sick and twisted person would make an app made for children to call Santa into this.

'I've reported app!!! If everyone else could do same! Some people in this world need help! Urgently!

'I'm absolutely fuming!!! Evie comes in to me with Finlee's tablet on an app called calling Santa 2018 new. I open app thinking it's a calling Santa app to hear this!!!!!'

In Kerstey's post she also shared a video of her playing the disturbing message in the app.
