A royal double act! Mathilde of Belgium and Princess Eléonore, 15, are both radiant in yellow as they attend the final of an annual singing contest in Brussels

The Queen of Belgium and her youngest daughter put on a very stylish display as they hit the town last night.

The Queen, 50, attended the final of her annual music competition, Queen Mathilde's Voice Competition 2023 in Brussels' Flagey concert hall yesterday.

For the occasion, the mother-of-four donned an elegant yellow gown with a cape detail and a feathered collar.

Her date for the evening, Princess Eléonore, who turned 15 in April, looked equally refined in a tiered floral dress in a matching shade.

Mother and daughter both looked relaxed at the event, where Mathilde handed out the winning prize to South Korean baritone Taehan Kim.

King Philippe's wife looked sensational in the gown, the shade of which married her sun-kissed complexion to perfection.

The collar of the yellow frock was adorned with yellow feathers and golden leaves and added a touch of whimsy to the overall outfit.

She matched the garment's buttery colour with golden strappy stilettos and kept the rest of the look minimal.

The royal donned very little jewellery, but added a touch of bling with a pair of drop diamond earrings.

Her baby blonde locks were styled in an understated bun which let her dress do the talking.

Mathilde also opted for a discreet yet glamourous makeup, with a dash of bronzer highlighting her sun-kissed glow, and a dash of eyeliner and mascara bringing the focus to her doe eyes.

She opted for a creamy nude lip to keep the attention on her sunny gown.

Meanwhile, her youngest daughter looked equally elegant in her own take on yellow.

The Princess, who is the youngest child of Mathilde and Philippe, opted for a darling tiered dress with a floral detail for last night's occasion.

The royal demonstrated she is not above wearing a dress more than once, as she debuted the garment last September for the wedding of her mother's brother Count Charles-Henri d’Udekem d’Acoz.

Eléonore, who turned 15 in April, was still wearing flats to public events due to her young age up until recently, but debuted a pair of nude heels to go with the dress last night.

Queen Mathilde's Voice Competition spreads over three days, where competitors performed at the Brusells Centre for Fine Arts with La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra.

The event is one of the most prestigious classical music competitions in the world for young musicians around the globe.

It takes place every year and rewards four category, piano, cello, singing and violin, which take turns every year.

55 young singers from 19 countries competed for the winning title this week, as the competition marked its 35th edition.

The Belgian Queen marked the beginning of the competition on Thursday, where she attended its first day by herself, wearing a coral floral gown for the occasion.

Baritone Taehan Kim, 22, became the first Asian competitor to win the singing category since it was introduced in 1988.
