Road safety campaigners are furious after Katie Price successfully dodged yet another speeding conviction back in the UK - as she soaks up the sun during a holiday in Thailand.

The 44-year-old former glamour model had been charged with one count of exceeding a 60mph speed limit on September 13, 2021, close to her Mucky Mansion in Horsham, West Sussex.

She was also accused of failing to tell police who was behind the wheel of her £62,000 BMW on January 26, but this was also dismissed as 'no evidence was offered' by police.

A court official said: 'I have been informed that the matter against her has been dismissed by Sussex Police, so she will not be appearing.'

Today John Scruby, from the Campaign Against Drink Driving (CADD), told MailOnline: 'We are very disappointed this hasn't gone to court. If anybody deserves their day in court it's her.'

Price's alleged speeding offence came just 15 days before she was lucky to escape serious injury when she rolled her BMW in the early hours of September 28 last year.

Price, who has been banned from the roads six times, avoided jail after promising the court she would seek help at the £7,000-a-week Priory Clinic.

Price, who has been represented by lawyer Nicholas Hamblin of Westgate Chambers, was also handed 100 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions to be completed within the next 12 months.

In addition, she was disqualified from driving for two years and ordered to pay £85 costs. At the time she was told by a judge: 'You have one of the worst driving records I have ever seen.'

The mother-of-five was still banned when she crashed her BMW in September 2021, and would have also been banned during the alleged speeding offence.

The Loose Women star - who is in Thailand with her fiance, Carl Woods, 34, did not attend court for her latest hearing.

Price, who has almost 20 previous driving convictions, does not face any more speeding charges.

The Loose Women star, 44, narrowly escaped a jail sentence last month after she breached a restraining order. She admitted sending a message to her ex-husband, Kieran Hayler, branding his new fiancee, Michelle Penticost, a 'gutter s***.'

She was told that she would not face prison for the offence, but instead has to carry out 170 hours of unpaid work.

Price - who was heard to tell a reporter to 'suck my d**k' after she was asked about the prospects of a prison sentence outside court - had been banned from contacting Miss Penticost directly or indirectly for five years in June 2019.

It recently emerged that Price booked her Thailand trip before learning of her fate for breaching the restraining order.

During the trip she and Mr Hayler have been posting on her Only Fans - running the risk of breaching Thailand's strict anti-pornography laws. In 2020, the government banned Pornhub and several other pornography websites.

Publishing 'obscene' content online can be punished by up to five years imprisonment, a 100,000-baht (£2,300) fine, or both, The Sun reported.

Price was declared bankrupt in 2019 while owing £2.3million. Despite owing millions she has seemingly enjoyed a luxury lifestyle with frequent exotic holidays.

The USUAL suspect: Katie Price's rap sheet in full including drink-driving BMW crash, bankruptcy, restraining order breaches and string of speeding fines... as latest charges against her are dropped

By Chay Quinna and Tom Pyman for MailOnline

Katie Price had two driving charges against her dropped today in her latest brush with the justice system.

The 44-year-old former glamour model had been charged with one count of exceeding the 60mph speed limit on September 13, 2021, and one count of failing to provide information on January 26 this year. But the charges were dropped after 'no evidence was offered'.

It's far from her first brush with the law. Last September, she was handed a suspended sentence after crashing her BMW on the B2135 near Partridge Green in West Sussex.

She was given a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, with 100 hours of unpaid work and 20 rehabilitation activity requirement sessions to be completed within the next 12 months.

She was also disqualified from driving for two years and ordered to pay £85 costs. Last month she avoided a potential jail sentence and was given a community order and told to pay £1,500 costs at Lewes Crown Court after pleading guilty to breaching a restraining order.
