Woman who became ill after zipline tour shares story

News4 talked to one of the more than 500 people who got sick while ziplining in Gatlinburg, TN.

Health officials confirm 15 people on the CLIMB Works Zipline Canopy Tour tested positive for Norovirus.

I was vomiting and had the other stuff that goes along with it

“It’s going to take more than that to keep me away from a zipline,”

Do zip line places ever clean the helmets, gloves or harnesses? I doubt it. Cleaning gloves is more or less impossible.

they found an article about possibly contaminated drinking water being served on their zipline tour.

Ok now it makes sense.

And how would containment of the ejecta effect the change in velocity?

They showed symptoms hours later. The exposure happened on the zipline.

Every zip line place I’ve ever been to don’t provide gloves. Bring your own if you want them.

Every zip line place I’ve been to provided and insisted on gloves. Anecdotes are funny things. Next time I do it, I’ll bring my own, if they and their insurance provider will let me.
