American journalism in 2019
On Monday's episode of "Pat Gray Unleashed," Pat Gray and Keith Malinak discussed the left-wing media's rush to judgment and the fake news reports in the case of "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett.
In this clip, Pat played a video montage that shows CNN and MSNBC reporting on Smollett's alleged assault as though the facts being presented are true. Click here to watch the full episode.
"There's also an indictment to be made here against the media because they lapped this story up without any consideration as to whether or not it was legitimate," Pat said.
Using phrases like "this is America in 2019," and "I can't believe this is happening," the mainstream media demonstrated a compulsion to report speculation as fact instead of being diligent in their reporting and waiting for the Chicago Police Department to thoroughly investigate the alleged assault.
Pat asserted, sarcastically, that the media probably could not believe the alleged "hate crime" was happening because Smollett made the whole thing up.

Pat and Keith agree that it is highly unlikely to expect an apology from the MSM for reporting fake news rather than waiting for the facts.
