Palace Skateboards and Reebook have been collaborating together for quite some time now. That partnership, while unlikely—one is an ultra-old-school American athletics brand, the other the punkiest skate brand we've seen in some time—has nonetheless brought us a number of extremely good-looking sneakers and one extremely good advertisement featuring known Palace loyalist and menswear icon, Jonah Hill. Now, the duo has teamed up to give three new takes on Reebok’s Pro Workout Low—and it’s the type of simple-yet-stylish sneaker that is sure to appeal to just about everyone.

Reebok

London-based Palace Skateboards first released its own version of the Pro Workout Low design back in 2014, reintroducing the 1980s-era fitness sneaker to a new generation of streetwear heads and skate rats. Since then, the silhouette has become a bit of a contemporary staple for the style-inclined, riding the lines between covetable fashion and actual skate shoe. This season, the sneaker comes in red, black, and white colorways, featuring a mixed-leather upper and additional protective overlays ideal for skaters. And if you need people to know that these are certified cool, there is Palace branding throughout the shoe from the side panel to the outer tongue, but the tonal logos are subtle enough as to not distract from the timelessness of the sneaker. All in, the design manages to keep the classic essence of the original Reebok sneaker but with a jolt of modern streetwear flair.

Reebok

Palace founder Lev Tanju has locked into the perfect formula of 1990s-inspired designs, cheeky graphics, and highly covetable sneaker and it’s proven to be a winning combination. (You don’t get co-signs from Mr. Hill without doing something right.) This particular collaboration with Reebok is just another notch on the skate label’s noteworthy hot streak, but it’s one that is certainly worth adding to your sneaker rotation.
