ATLANTA - Former Atlanta Falcons superstar Michael Vick is returning to professional football.
But he’s not going to be a part of the Falcons.
Vick is going to be the offensive coordinator for a new team in The Alliance of American Football.

"I'm just looking forward to being the best offensive coordinator I can be," Vick told Channel 2's Anthony Amey .
The former Falcons superstar will be the offensive coordinator of a new professional football team. We'll have coverage on Channel 2 Action News at Noon.
The team will be coached by Brad Childress and will play its games at the old Turner Field.
The league is set to begin in February.
The only other team announced so far is Orlando. That team will be coached by Steve Spurrier.
Sounds like Vick has turned his life around.
What is the team going to be named? The pit bulls?
Are they going to be kneelers?
The players train by running from dogs.
And that no talent hack Kaepernick is still unemployed
Maybe "The Atlanta Kneelers."
Or maybe "The Atlanta Neelers." Wouldn't want to use White Privilege spelling.

I would pay big bucks to see Vick stripped, covered in bacon grease, put in a large cage and set upon by a dozen or so pit bulls.
Then to watch his miserable remains hosed down the gutter.

I am disappointed in FReepers. It took all the way to the third comment, to mention pit bulls as the nickname for the team but good on you for mentioning it.
Isn’t it amazing how the video game generation praises Vick?
To use an expression often employed by the Brits, Vick won sod all as a player yet he’s constantly invoked as a revolutionary talent etc.

Animal abusing sadist. Eff him.
He became a born again Christian while in prison, he has paid his debt to society and from all reports, with the Lord's help he truly has "turned his life around".
God's speed, Mr. Vick.
I agree. But, this guy didn't just knock over a liquor store or smoke some weed.
What he did -- repeatedly and with glee -- was brutal and sick beyond human sensibilities. He clearly got off on the torture.
Only a very ill person would engage in such behavior.
