A high-profile vegan blogger who was jailed for 12 months for harassing his former girlfriend called her a 'f***ing snake' and called her 50 times a day within weeks of being released.

Kyle O'Sullivan, 29, was banned from having contact with his ex-girlfriend Catherine Kendall after he admitting harassing her after they broke up.

But he breached the indefinite restraining order imposed when he was jailed in February following a series of incidents, Warwick Crown Court heard.

He told Catherine: 'I just want to hurt you so f****ng badly. I want to strange you so the blood comes out of your eyes.'

Vegan rap artist O'Sullivan demanded to know if she was sleeping with anyone and pulled up in front of her in a Coventry Sainsbury's car park while on license from his sentence.

He told her she had ruined his life, began crying as he wanted her instead of his new girlfriend and would ring Catherine later, Prosecutor Charles Crinion told the court.

In his text messages, he said 'I want to kill myself and it's all your fault' before being in a car accident but barrister Amiee Parkes said he denies making that threat, and the crash was not a suicide attempt

About a week later she began receiving up to 50 calls a day from him and on June 20 he followed her around a shop insulting her.

O'Sullivan, of Leamington Road, Rugby, persuaded her to get into his car, drove off erratically and said they were going to die together before driving her back.

In his text messages, he said 'I want to kill myself and it's all your fault' before being in a car accident but barrister Amiee Parkes said he denies making that threat, and the crash was not a suicide attempt.

Miss Parkes said their meeting at Sainsbury's was 'by chance' as it was six miles from Catherine's home and O'Sullivan was not aware she used the store that afternoon.

The judge said it is up to O'Sullivan  to decide whether he wants to address the 'obsessive strain' in his personality

The judge said it is up to O'Sullivan  to decide whether he wants to address the 'obsessive strain' in his personality

He apologised for what happened and 'accepts he should have walked away', the barrister told the court.

O'Sullivan 'fully admits' breaching the order which left Catherine 'physically and mentally tortured', according to the impact statement.

He was jailed for 16 months and knows he can 'never have anything to do this this lady again'.

Judge Anthony Potter said: 'It is for you to decide whether you want to do something to address this obsessive strain in your personality, otherwise you will be here again and again.

He told the court that O'Sullivan has a 'fundamental misunderstanding' of how to behave with others and a 'strain of obsession' with people he has a romantic attachment to, following the repeat actions.

The judge added: 'I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt that on that first occasion you had not sought her out, but having met her, you demonstrated the obsessive nature of your personality.'

O'Sullivan and Miss Kendall had been in a volatile relationship since December 2017, it was heard at the last hearing.

He turned up at her home on September 18 with a claw hammer last year and ordered Catherine's step-father that he had 'ten seconds, ten f***ing seconds' to get out.

He said: 'You threaten me again, I'll stick this between your f***ing eyebrows. Threatening me, you stupid little bitch.'

He returned with his daughter, 7, on October 4, furious about something Miss Kendall had posted about him on social media. O'Sullivan slammed the window shut from the outside and it hit Catherine's mother, during the incident recorded on a phone.

The stalker's daughter can be heard pleading 'I want to go home' before builders came over and he rushed into his car and left.

She was at home with her mother when, with his seven-year-old daughter in tow, he began yelling, and as her mother reached to close the window, he slammed it shut from outside, causing it to hit her.
