Does Nikita Krylov got a lot of potential?

The man just knocked out Fabio Maldonado, a solid win considering how he absolutely melted him. I kinda lost the hype after Cirkunov choked him out, to be honest, but he's pieced together a nice win streak (4) since that fight. He has a 100% finishing rate (impressive considering his record is 24/5), and he's only 26.

What should we expect in the future? Will he evolve and return to the big stage, or will he stay on the regional circuit?

disappointed the ufc let him go a few years back. not only was he on a 5 fight win streak before the loss to misha, but he finished every single one of his opponents during that streak.

in fact he's never been to a decision in his entire mma career (all his wins and losses are finishes).

I don't think he's a world beater but he sure is fun to watch

He will always have fans due to his fighting style. I love when a fighter like him does well. Hopefully he will be back soon.

he said he plans to return to the ufc, he left because he wants to be with his son or smth

I was really surprised they cut him he's solid and always has good fights

He looked awesome vs Fabio.I thought he sucked when he first came to the UFC but somehow he found ways to win and improved every fight and vs Fabio he looked really really good especially compared to what I thought his ceiling was years ago.He won't come back to the UFC imo but he'd but in the mix if he did considering how horrible 205 is these days.I think he could even make 185 now,he just keeps getting skinnier and Fabio was SO much thicker than him and Fabio is a guy that talked about 185 for a few years.Wish the UFC never let him go (or paid him more to stay) he just keeps getting better and better and is most likely not even in his fighting prime yet.

Crazy that he's had 29 fights now and has never been the distance. Only been to the third round once. Bad loss for the UFC.

I hope so, I don't see him beating guys like Gustafsson, of course not DC either. But he makes a solid addition to the roster.

Potential is not even the word to describe him; dude is amazingly talented. Shame UFC let him go. Looking at his record he lost a few to HW’s when he was greatly undersized. As a LHW the sky is the limit. This guy is for real.

Would love to see him fighting with a bigger promotion that would make it worth he’s while

Nikita Krylov vs Alexander Gustafsson what are your thoughts on that?

goodbye Gustafsson

I really like the fight, yeah. In terms of his potential, I don't think he has much. He's still got too many holes in his game for someone with so much professional experience, he'll always beat around 60% of the division I think but the actual legit guys will take him out.
