I didnt like Chael when he was fighting, im not into fake personas or the fans it attracts but he grew on me outside of the sport. I can tell he's a good guy.
 
My favourite Chael memory.

NSAC hearing, pleads guilty after getting caught with PEDS.

They end up offering him a job.

Only Chael P could pull that off .
 
Chael also destroyed Jon Jones toe...Was minutes away from the LHW championship ;) ;)
 
There was no grey area for Chael and PEDs.

That said, I've heard about him helping (or offering to help) other fighters who have fallen on hard times, so that story doesn't surprise me.

And yeah...I have never understood the rationale behind not belting a challenger who beats a champion who missed weight. I think a rational person would consider him the champ in that situation.

The way Anderson beat him in the first fight only added to the mystique. And he did it with a broken rib.
