To follow-up on the best and most technically accurate pre-fight prediction thread in the lengthy history of Sherdog (http://forums.sherdog.com/threads/p...how-eddie-will-get-finished-by-conor.3356655/)
I present to you a GIF perfectly illustrating how Khabib will get finished by Conor. It is no secret that AKA Edmond (Javier Mendez) is coach to some of the most historically bad strikers in the UFC including Khabib himself and Bethe Corriea among others, Khabib, despite training at AKA for years now, has some absolutely terrible habits.
He lunges forward and drops his hand nearly all of the time, especially when he tries to throw that looping uppercut. As you can see here, Kamal Shalorus, a lifelong grappler with no striking experience, is easily able to land an (ugly) left right combo followed by another right as Khabib continues to move forward with his hands at his waist. There is absolutely no way Khabib would survive this three punch set by Conor.
Now I already know whats coming "this was 6 years ago". That is true, but the fact is he has not improved in by a significant measure. He still lunges and drops his hand nearly every time he tries to pressure with strikes. The ONLY way khabib wins is if he literally throws no strikes and spams takedowns. If he attempts ANY form of striking to setup a takedown he gets slept.
