Let's face it, The Red King is dead, the guy that fought Fitch and Gracie is not the same elite championship fighter that beat Woodley and had a FOTY war with Robbie Lawler, meanwhile Lima has been looking fantastic on this grand prix, finished both of his opponents and gave us a top 5 2019 KO against MVP.

Lima still has the fire in him and wants his belt back, Rory is acting like a fighter that wants to fight out his contract and retire.

Totally agree, wouldn't be surprised if Rory retired after this.

Not hating on Rory tho, he is a legend, I just don't think he has the fire anymore.

I've always been a fan of Rory, but he looks like he's trying to do the least amount of damage possible while still winning in his past two fights. That Mousasi beating was one of the worst I've EVER seen.
That fire isn't what it once was.

Lima is a freakin' BEAST.

Really hope to see him in the UFC one day.
 
I hope the odds are even because I will make bank on Lima. As you said, Rory is not the same fighter as he once was. Lima is going to starch him and I've never been this confident in a pick before.

I thought rory looked alot better sgainst gracie then previous against fitch however i agree Lima just seems to be on a tear right now and ill probably throw a few bucks on him for sure. I hope Lima can get signed by ufc somehow after shit would be dope
 
Y'all really underrating Rory now. Technical masterpiece of a performance against Neiman. His sub defense his God tier. He can easily outgrapple Lima for the W. He did so in the last fight with a fucked up nose and on one leg.

He reconnected with his beliefs it's not like he suddenly stopped knowing how to fight.

Yea its just the way it is. Lima has definitely improved but if Rory can control him like he did in their first fight Colby, Askren and Usman would probably ragdolling him.
 
Really excited for this one. I think it's a really even match up.
 
I think Rory beats him again.

Too bad cause that KO Lima put on MVP was very satisfying to watch

Also, I'm an atheist and I hate his born-again deal, but none of that matters if you're standing across the cage from him.

A lot of expert analysts before fights end up looking like idiots after fights. Sherdog Forums is Expert Analyst Idiot Central. But who knows....maybe you're right.
