He said yes, so in reality probably not.
 
It depends on if he believes he is worth more than whatever lowball offer UFC will throw him.

but they will low ball him. in the end, if he wants to prove hes the best, hes gotta be in the ufc. but they dont exactly need each other.
 
MVP wouldn't do shit in the UFC. Zero TDD.

marlon moraes was legit getting paid a lot more in wsof. I dont kniw why he came to the ufc. Maybe more in the long run?
 
Yea they will probably sign him but honestly I doubt he will crack the top 10 at ww and he's too big to cut to lightweight which is arguably more stacked then ww

Fighters like him love crushing cans and want to avoid wrestlers like the plague. Daley took him down then a 12 year old girl can and the ufc is full of wrestlers. Unless they catered to him hed go 0-3 and out of the ufc
 
Can't afford him and tbh I see no way for him to stop, Rory, Fitch or Gracie from taking him down in the finals if he gets there.

TDD defense doesn't matter as much when he's not as worried about a single counter KO'n him. Daley was gunshy for sure but MVP wasn't beaming with confidence in his range. Spamming Cyborgs broken head highlight will keep some of them chicken shits from diving at his legs nonstop.
 
Yes he'd be huge for the UK market. Just keep feeding him mid level strikers with no grappling skill so he doesn't get exposed on a bigger stage.
 
Conor made a career out of avoiding grapplers and outstriking good strikers. I don't see why they wouldn't do the same with MVP
 
He would provide some fun fights.

He would give us some flashy KO wins.

He would suffer some submission and GNP losses...

I’ll watch him fight for that reason, no matter where he lands.

Overall,,,, Gatekeeper now, until and unless his grappling can improve a lot
 
He'll be 32 before he fights again and with his height and reach the guy's ducking HW isn't he (of is that just Jones).
The UFC doesn't need him and he does nothing there as he can't stop a take down and can't do anything off his back.

He could go for 5 rounds though so he does have that going for him.
 
After Paul Daley took him down almost at will, I can't imagine what some of the better WW's in the UFC would do with him.

I'm sure if the price was right they'd take him simply to take one of Bellator's stars away.
