I'm surprised De Ridder is even still alive, let alone competing in anything at all after getting murdered in that ONE LHW title fight where he got brutally laid out and stretchered by the Russian.

He’s a lot bigger than Ruotolo right? The size advantage should help him for sure. Remember Reinier went the distance against André Galvão in their grappling match

Tye is much younger than Galvão however, and lankier so that might play a factor as well.
Maybe RDR could stall him out, but unless some special rules are in place I can't see it being particularly competitive.

It's a different grappling style. Galvao is more of a push people over and dominate positionally dude these days who you can survive against, the Ruotolo kids are both aggressive sub hunters.
RDR aint winning this.
