What's happening with Stipe, Jones , and Ngannou ?

Apparently two of them should fight eachother in december. According to Ariel Jones is ready but something is up with Stipe. My guess is they're low balling him and he won't stand for it. The UFC clearly want Jones vs Stipe but that’s far from done. Francis wants Jones if he ever fights for the UFC again, Jones clearly doesn't want Francis now. Francis is still battling the contract thing. I'd expect officiall answers next month or early november, but it's certainly a mess. A mess i don't spend too much time thinking about until decisions are made.

I know for a fact Francis doesn't give a fuck about what happens next or anyones opinion about it until his demands are met. The reason this is stalling is because the UFC (Hunter Cambell) has a tough decision in their hands and they are thinking about all outcomes.

I just wanna watch these big boys fight and keep the division rolling again so let's just hope cooler heads prevails. It's not just about money. It's about respect basically.

All three of them, Jones, Ngannou and Stipe has been offered big money. Something is still off.

Stipe's busy putting on 20lbs of lean muscle at 40 years old.
Jones is waiting to get a clear drug test.
Ngannou, Gane and Aspinall are nursing injuries.

Let's make Blaydes vs Pavlovich for the interim belt.

Nothing scheduled , so what's up , did they retire ?
Stipe = fighting in Dec
Jones = fighting in Dec
Ngannou = played out his hand of cards not very well, isn't fighting anytime soon, and probably never will again for UFC.

That's it.

..... until his demands are met.
His demands are not all gonna be met, guaranteed.
They may meet SOME of his demands but certainly not all of them.

So either Ngannou capitulates and re-signs, OR he sticks to his demands and leaves UFC at end of 2022.

I hope they have something scheduled for these guys in the next few weeks or so.

OR... Maybe, just maybe the UFC capitulates. Losing the HW champion is a big loss

they might do......

....But I would bet that they do not. UFC tend not to capitulate to many people (that's just the fact of it).

This is why they're throwing millions of dollars at Jones and Stipe to fight and why they are putting their faith in Ciryl Gane and also Aspinall (when his knee is fixed).
It's all about succession planning, and my personal belief is that UFC decided quite a while ago that they are moving on from the Ngannou era (rightly or wrongly). Ngannou was never, frankly, a big draw as far as PPV revenue is concerned, and really that is about all the UFC care about.

WME/IMG when they took over essentially told UFC President:
" Dana, make us hundreds of millions of dollars per year. We don't care how you get that done, but just get it done".

Ngannou's contract ends either december of this year or january of '23 if I remember correctly. A few weeks ago, he said he's received no offers from the UFC. I think all this Jones, Miocic, Ngannou talk in the media was done by the UFC to try and manipulate 2 of the 3 to come forward and throw out the monetary demands first. Sounds like everyone can take it or leave it and no one has blinked.

I find it pretty funny that the 3 big names of the division are all in a position and willing to tell the UFC to match their demands or fuck off.
And the UFC is desperately trying to negociate to get the cheapest pair of the 3 to fight for the belt.

I'm not holding my breathe on any of them. Jones and Stipe have always been inactive so I don't put any energy into it. I assume none are fighting again until they are walking into the octagon.
