Official Trailer for the Russo Bros.' THE GRAY MAN Starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans

Ryan Gosling is THE GRAY MAN and Chris Evans is his psychopathic adversary in the Netflix/AGBO spy thriller directed by Anthony and Joe Russo - available globally July 22 on Netflix. Also starring Ana de Armas, with Regé-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, Jessica Henwick, Dhanush, Wagner Moura and Alfre Woodard. Based on the novel The Gray Man by Mark Greaney, the screenplay is by Joe Russo, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

Looks like your stereotypical spy thriller with some solid action and actors Im a fan of, Im in, just wish it was on the big screen so I could enjoy the crashes and explosions in all their glory

"THE GRAY MAN is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it. "

wow, the most generic plot ever.
do they have a plot-generator for these gems or what

Netflix does own some theaters wonder if they'd put it in any of the ones they own

I doubt it happens for Gray Man but all indications are the Netflix is very serious about putting some of their bigger movies in theatres in the future.

Maybe the real Skynet is just a Hollywood algorithm that keeps giving us more and more generic movies until the human race just kinda surrenders to their robot overlords?

This feels the same as Red Notice. Netflix algorithm just takes 3 popular actors and puts them in a generic action blockbuster.

Gray Man looks to have a pretty obvious ceiling but I am also definitely going to watch.

Evan's moustache is the obvious star. If this was 2016, that moustache would already have a 9 figure output deal locked down

Amazing cast, but I am sensing disappointment incoming

but what if one of ex-CIA agents has amnesia and has to re-learn his skills? now we've got an original movie!

Looks pretty good. Great cast.

Chris Evans actually plays the villain really well. He was excellent in Knives Out.
