News AJ McKee calls for Brian Ortega grappling match, says UFC fighters are ducking him

Ortega is scared of McKee by fighting tougher competition in the UFC.

Also, McKee knows damn well how MMA contracts. You can't fight in another MMA promotion unless you finish your contract. This is just a lazy attempt to get some clout.

And Ortega would school McKee in a BJJ match.

He should worry about the fight he has tomorrow instead?

Which btw is a great fight. The winner has every right to claim being one of the best FW in the world, and it's too bad the winner can't fight the Volk-Ortega winner.

Tomorrow's Bellator card is better than tomorrow's UFC card.

Sincerely doubt that, maybe back in the day he would. Not in 2021.

Bellator fighters pretending there relevant. Think there egos been bruised since there long time posterboyy Michael Chandler got KO’d in the title fight lol

I always like when guys calls out people from other orgs...
Its so bad ass, knowing you will never get to face them.

I know this is grappling but still.

He would. You're taking about a guy who submitted Moicano without much trouble.

Ortega had a lot of trouble with moicano until his pressure forced a bad shot out of moicano. Ortega is still the same guy who got handled pretty easily by tavares on the mat, which is coincidentally the only time we've seen prolonged mat grappling from ortega.

I'm taking about the grappling. He got submitted the moment he shoot on Ortega.

Also I don't think you remember the Tavares fight correctly. Ortega show his great guard In that fight. Reversed him in the first round and almost submitted him multiple times. He even busted Tavares up off with elbows his back in the second round if i remember correctly.

Also Ortega was 24 at that time and Tavares is a 3rd degree black belt.

Contracts, how do they work?
I don't know anything about High Rollerz, but UFC fighters have competed in grappling tournaments while under contract. I don't know which ones they are allowed to compete at or anything, but I'm pretty sure they could do a grappling match against each other.
