This is fight relevant because it involves Toe Rogan.

Pretty dumb thread but this is Sherdog so sod off. Post you favorite JRE clip in homage to the Toe leaving everyone behind a pay wall.

P.S. Before anyone comments I mean no new episodes as they will now be on Spotify. You can still find content on Youtube.

I'm surprised that Alex Jones still has many fans after admitting in court that he's basically a grifter.

You know that people do that as a legal defense right? Same way Fox News claimed it's entertainment not news, and Facebook and Twitter claim they are platforms and not publishers. Fox and Alex Jones have made outrageous claims, some true some false, and Twitter and Facebook are publishers that restrict content and violate copyright laws millions of times a day, but also allow free expression most of the time.
CNN and FOX have x many million viewers a day and both lie all the time. This is the world we live in.

Spotify is well worth the money without Rogan anyway.
what's the deal with spotify? I think I've looked into it once and didn't see how I could justify a monthly fee for something I could get for free

It has millions of songs on it for not much money and no adverts. It's just a lot easier and more convenient than Torrenting everything.

Does you solid recommendations based on stuff you like too, plus you can make playlists, access other people's playlists etc.

It has loads of podcasts too, though I don't use it for that.

Ive been a paying subscriber to Spotify for yeaaaaars. I've always had physical labour work outside and always had my headphones on cranking music from spotify. It's just extremely convenient.

May as well pay for Tidal and get your music lossless?

Never heard of them, that's cool. I'm not really an audio geek and know next to nothing about it, would lossless music even give a noticeable difference when you're just using some random headphones and a phone?

Massive difference if you're willing to spend a little (ymmv). Not so much without.

Something like this:

Paired with your phone will transform your audio to a completely different level.

Add in some decent phones like these or similar

Easy to set up (convenience is a must for me) and easy to out in. Your pocket.

These phones are easy to wear on commutes and wear around your neck when not listening.

You'll.mever go back to basic earbuds in phone once you try it j promise you! :)

(Up to a certain point the sound quality will just increase, eg mid -high end phones from Audeze, Bower and Wilkins and others).

Well, you've certainly piqued my interest. I use earbuds during the day and Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2 at home but I've been thinking about getting speakers and maybe this lossless music thing is something I need to take into account if there actually is that much of a difference. I thought we were talking about a minor difference that you maybe can hear if you really fucking listen for it
