An MMA fighter was left unconscious on the canvas for 15 MINUTES before being stretchered out of the arena after a scary knockout.

Jordan Titoni lay face down on the canvas after slumping to the floor and was then taken out of cage at the Horseshoe Tunica Hotel and Casino in Robinsville, Mississippi by the on-site medical team.

The Cage Fighting Fury Championship lightweight clash between Titoni and Pat Sabatini delivered plenty of enthralling action before the chilling finale.

Sabatini finished the fight with a barrage of brutal punches to the head which stunned the 32-year-old from Colorado to his core, but he refused to go down.

Titoni was then given a standing knockout by the referee as he slumped against the cage fence, slowly then slipping to the floor as the action was called to a halt in the first round.

Although the stoppage seemed like it was well-timed, Titoni lay on the floor for a scary period of time as Sabatini and his corner team watched on.

After 15 minutes, Titoni was stretchered out the venue and even managed to give a thumbs-up as he was given a rousing round of applaus

Wow, poor dude. I guess refs should start being ready to catch guys in case they fall. He will probably be alright though. Props for being in the cage!

Respect to this wounded warrior, hope that thumbs up he gave is legitimate and he returns to battle.

Brutal, hope he's ok 15mins on the mat is a long fn time

Yeah, watched that last night...really scary.

There's a CFFC that just started right now.

I guess the ref stoppage could have been sooner, but they were standing so i understand he hesitation.

That stoppage was early as fuck but I kind of think it was going to get ugly quickly. Not sure if I have that much of problem with it.

@TCE can you change the title to include the PBP discussion for tonight's fights?

I don't get the hype around Penne...she is the definition of a horseface

Snagged and Bagged!

Snatched that arm and tappy tappy!

I don't get the hype around Penne

Does she still have hype? I had completely forgotten about her till CFFC. 2 and 3 in last 5 - though being WMMA ratios and depth, I'm still she is in there somewhere.

Edit: Hasn't fought since 2017...
