GTFO will finally land on Steam Early Access today for PC players, and while it seems exclusive to PC players for now, in an interview with DualShockers, 10 Chambers Collective do want to see the game coming to consoles in the future.

The hardcore co-op horror game puts four players together in an underground complex that is overrun with monsters that detect your movement. The game also features a Rundown system that was revealed last month. A more recent video has come out with a shorter explanation of the system. Essentially, new levels are introduced to the game when the timer for that specific Rundown runs out.

As DualShockers got to sit down with Svante Vinternatt, we learned that the team wants to stay as a small team in order to have control over what they do. Having a small team means that they're focusing their efforts on making the game as good as it can be. "Doing several platforms at the same time with this kind of team will be really tough" he explains.

He details that they're going to be using the Early Access period to get things right and running smoothly. He goes on to say "we would love to release on consoles." and later states, "the more platforms the game would be available on the more people could probably play it".

So while the team wants to ensure the game grows well on PC to start with, there's a possibility that GTFO will be heading to more platforms.
