Apex Legends Iron Crown Legendary skins will be added to the store

Respawn Entertainment will add the Legendary Skins from the Iron Crown Collection Event to the Apex Legends store next week.

The news comes after player backlash over the Apex Legends Iron Crown Collection Event locked the skins away in special crates.

This is what didn't set well with players, the packs were the only way to get some of the skins.

"With the Iron Crown event we missed the mark when we broke our promise by making Apex Packs the only way to get what many consider to be the coolest skins we’ve released," reads the post from Respawn's Drew McCoy.

"We’ve heard you and have spent a lot of time this week discussing the feedback and how we structure events in the future, as well as changes that we will make to Iron Crown."

Starting next week on August 20, the studio will be adding and rotating all 12 of the event-exclusive Legendary items into the store. This will occur over the course of the final week of the event.

The skins will cost players 1,800 Apex Coins, which is the current cost of Legendary skins. Players will still be able to purchase Iron Crown Apex Packs for 700 Apex Coins if they choose.

Here's the store schedule:

The Apex Legends Iron Crown Collection Event kicked off on August 13 and brought with it the limited-time Solos Mode.
