11-11: Memories Retold is a story-driven narrative adventure set during World War 1

Made with the help of Wallace and Gromit creator Aardman.

Here's an unlikely collaboration: Japanese mega publisher Bandai Namco, Lost in Harmony developer DigixArt and Wallace and Gromit creator Aardman Studios have joined forces for a story-driven narrative game set during World War 1.

11-11: Memories Retold has a painted visuals style you can see in the video below. The narration is In Flanders Field by John McCrae.

11:11, of course, refers to Armistice Day, "the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month" of 1918, when the armistice was signed between the Allies and Germany at Compiègne, France, for the cessation of hostilities on the Western Front of World War 1.

Beyond that, we don't know much about the game, save the developers hope to create an "emotionally rich experience". 11-11: Memories Retold is due out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at some point. On Armistice Day 2018, perhaps? One to watch.
