Demon Souls is looking to be one of the hottest launch title games for the PS5 and the game is visually stunning. It definitely is showing off the power of the next PlayStation console. However, what does the game look like compared to the original?

Phobia on YouTube has uploaded a great video that has a side-by-side comparison of Demon Souls on the PS3 and the PS5. They stated that they ran the PS3 version on an emulator that upscaled the game to 4k 60 FPS. They wanted to give the original the best chance possible when comparing it to Blue Point's remake. You can take a look for yourself in the attached video below.

I have to say, the remake looks really good. I am not much of a Souls guy myself, but I think I am picking this one up at launch. Environments just look filled to the brim with detail, especially when comparing it to the original release. It's going to look even better running locally on your PS5 at home. November can't come soon enough.

Demon Souls is set to release on the launch day of the PS5 on November 12. For those who haven't seen, Sony has stated that the game will retail for $69.99, a $10 price increase from the last few generations. On top of that, in the PS5 event trailer, it was stated that the game would be coming to PC as well. That turned out to be a mistake and the game will be a PS5 exclusive.
