Liverpool transfer news: Alisson arrives in England to complete £67million move from Roma
The Brazil and Roma shot-stopper is to become Jurgen Klopp's fourth signing of the summer
Alisson is on the verge of completing his £67m move to Liverpool
The goalkeeper cut short a holiday in Sardinia to fly into Merseyside on Wednesday night after Roma accepted an offer from the Reds.
He will undergo a medical on Merseyside on Thursday and finalise terms on a long-term contract with the Premier League club.
The deal will make Alisson, Brazil's number one, the most expensive goalkeeper in world football.
Alisson has been with Roma for the past two seasons, having arrived from Internacional in July 2016, and has made 64 appearances for the Serie A club.
He has been capped 31 times by Brazil and was selected ahead of Manchester City's Ederson at the World Cup, playing in all of his country's matches as they reached the quarter-finals.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp made his move for Alisson having decided he could no longer rely on Loris Karius.
Karius produced a disastrous performance in the Champions League final in May, although it was later revealed he was suffering with concussion, and he has looked shaky on his return to action in pre-season games.

The Reds have acted fast to close out a deal for Alisson amid fears Chelsea could enter the bidding as they eye potential replacements for Thibaut Courtois, who is wanted by Real Madrid.
Should the deal for the 25-year-old go through, it will surpass the 53m euros (£46m) paid by Juventus to Parma for Gianluigi Buffon in 2001.
Alisson will be the fourth signing made by Liverpool this summer.
Klopp has already closed out deals for Naby Keita (agreed in 2017), Fabinho and Xherdan Shaqiri.
The deal for the Brazilian shot-stopper will take the Merseyside club's spending this summer to around £180million.
