Former Arsenal and Man City star Samir Nasri set to sign for Las Palmas – reports

LaLiga outfit Las Palmas are trying to sign former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri.

The France international is currently a free agent after having his contract with Turkish club Antalyaspor terminated in January.

As a result of his availabilty, the 30-year-old was linked with a shock return to England with West Ham United reportedly interested in him.

In the end, the move collapsed but Nasri seems set to get his move imminently.

According to La Provincia, the midfielder is a target for Las Palmas who are ready to offer him a contract.

The La Liga club have reportedly been given permission to sign a free agent by the Spanish FA after attacking midfielder Jonathan Viera agreed to join Beijing Guoan earlier this month.
