Arsenal FC news: Aaron Ramsey out of Europa League clash but could be fit for EFL Cup final
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is out of the club’s clash with Ostersunds on Thursday - but could return for Sunday’s Carabao Cup final with Manchester City.
The Wales international has been sidelined with a groin injury since early February, but he has now returned to training.
Ramsey is, though, still too short of fitness to feature in the second leg of Arsenal’s Europa League clash with Swedish minnows Ostersunds at the Emirates tomorrow.
“He’s not in the squad tomorrow,” said Wenger.
“He had a good training session but he’s a bit short for tomorrow. We’ll see how his evolution goes now from today until Sunday.
“I don’t rule him out yet, it depends on how well he can improve with the intensity of training until Sunday.”
