Manchester United's players have been cleared to return to first team training after their Covid scare on Thursday.
Nine players and staff had returned positive lateral flow tests which prompted club doctors to send everyone home to self isolate and forced the cancellation of United's friendly with Preston North End on Saturday.
However, the more conclusive PCR tests returned on Friday morning have confirmed all nine were 'false positives' and United staff will revert to their training schedule ahead of their friendly with Everton on Saturday, August 7.

A United statement confirmed: 'After further testing yesterday and today, we can confirm there are no positive cases within the first team group.
'Following consultation with the Premier League, they are satisfied that all Covid protocols have been followed correctly and the squad can return to training immediately.'
United defender Di'Shon Bernard, meanwhile, has signed a new contract and will join Hull City on a season loan.
