Real Madrid have moved above Valencia into third, while Leganes stay down in 13th.

And that's that, the referee blows his whistle to end proceedings. A great result for the visitors, who had to come from behind to win 3-1.

Bustinza put Leganes ahead in just the sixth minute, but Vazquez equalised just five minutes later. 

Casemiro then gave Madrid the lead on 29 minutes before Ramos wrapped the victory up just before full-time.

89 mins: Game, set and match! Captain Sergio Ramos steps up and coolly slots the ball to the left of Cuellar. 3-1 Madrid! The visitors are set to move into third position.

89 mins: And this could be it. Kovacic is brought down in the penalty area after playing a one-two with Vazquez.

88 mins: Great work from Bale. The Welshman picks up the ball on the left, drives at the Leganes defence before firing a shot at goal. However, his effort drifts just wide of the right post.

86 mins: Zidane brings Isco off in place for Marcos Llorente.

85 mins: Leganes goalkeeper Cuellar picks up a yellow for theatrics. The shot-stopper goes down and rolls on the floor after a tackle from Theo Hernandez and the referee doesn't agree with his antics.

82 mins: Isco goes up the other end and nearly puts the game to bed for his side. The Spanish midfielder receives the ball from Bale. He then gets a shot away from the edge of the penalty area, but his right-footed effort is held comfortably by Cuellar.

80 mins: Leganes are pinning Madrid back at the moment but have yet to really threaten their opponents' goal. Can they step it up in the last 10 minutes?

76 mins: Bale is introduced to the game with Benzema making way. Zidane still has two substitutions at his disposal.

72 mins: Leganes make their final change of the match. Amrabat replaces Ramos with just under 20 minutes remaining. 

67 mins: Penalty shout for the hosts. El Zhar goes down in the penalty area following pressure from Kovacic, who seems to whip his leg round the ankles of the Leganes player. However, the referee waves play on. Fairly clumsy that from the Madrid midfielder.

64 mins: Great play from Leganes who nearly strike back. El Zhar runs to the byline down the right, plays in Beauvue who strikes a first-time shot at goal, but his effort is saved brilliantly by Casilla.

Good result for coach Guti who has his eye on Zidane's job at some point in the future. Bale warming up. 

57 mins: No surprise here. Ramos goes into the book. The Spanish defender feels hard done by after conceding a free-kick following a tussle with El Zhar. Ramos, who believes he should have been given the free-kick, complains to the linesman and then receives a yellow!

55 mins: Better from Leganes. Rico makes a driving run down the left before whipping a low cross into the penalty area. However, his pass is blocked and Madrid clear comfortably.

51 mins: Rico becomes the first player to go into the referee's book after taking out Varane. Naughty from the Leganes player there!

49 mins: The European giants have started the second half well. They haven't created anything but look comfortable on the ball with their one-goal advantage.

And here we go for the second half. Can Leganes get back into the game or will Madrid have too much for them?

Leganes make two changes at half-time. Perez and Mantovani come on for Siovas and Gumbau.

PETE JENSON: It's been a good first half from Madrid with Bale watching from the bench sat with the manager's son Luca who is named as the substitute keeper tonight - not really why he is at the club.

Those who watched the players get off the team bus say he was last off a few minutes after his team-mates and not looking too happy. 

And the referee blows his whistle to signal the end of the first half. Leganes went ahead through Unai Bustinza but goals from Lucas Vazquez and Casemiro soon turned the clash in Madrid's favour.

42 mins: The hosts are causing more problems from corners. Again a set-piece is flicked on inside the area but unfortunately no Leganes player can get onto the loose ball and Madrid clear their lines.

34 mins: Benzema misses a chance to put Madrid 3-1 ahead. Vazquez chips the ball into the area but the French striker can't get a good connection to head the ball past Cuellar in the Leganes goal. It has been a brilliant response by the visitors after going behind in the opening moments.

29 mins: And just like that the visitors are ahead and what a goal it is! It's brilliant one-touch play. Casemiro strokes the ball home inside the area.

Benzema, Casemiro and Vazquez, who picked up the assist, were all involved in the one-touch build-up before the Brazilian midfielder tucked the ball home.

25 mins: Despite conceding the opening goal of the night, Madrid have dominated the majority of the match so far. They are stroking the ball around nicely while Leganes are trying to keep their shape at the back!

19 mins: Asensio does really well down the right wing as he beats his man and gets to the byline. However, the youngster's cross evades everyone and Leganes get away with it. 

PETE JENSON: No one for Madrid covered themselves in glory for the goal but another reminder as to why Madrid will definitely buy a goalkeeper in the summer. The No.2 Kiko Casilla is just not good enough. Poor from Theo Hernandez too. 

Great response from Lucas Vazquez. Playing instead of Bale and scoring.  

11 mins: Wow what a start here. Vazquez has levelled proceedings up after firing a right-footed shot into the bottom corner of the net. 

Kovacic received the ball in the middle of the pitch before passing it onto Casemiro, who flicks the ball into Vazquez's path. And the 26-year-old made no mistake from close range!

6 mins: Despite starting on the front foot, Madrid find themselves behind early on after a very brave Unai Bustinza heads home from on the goalline. What a start for the hosts!

The ball gets flicked on at the near post and after seeing his initial effort saved by Casilla, he dives at the feet of Theo Hernandez to head home literally on the goalline. Messy but Leganes won't care.

4 mins: Casemiro has the first shot at goal. He tries his luck with range but it is easily saved by Leganes goalkeeper Ivan Cuellar.

3 mins: Zidane's side are enjoying the early spell of possession, stroking the ball round with ease. They will be hoping to continue in the same fashion.
