Bit of a who cares story but thought i'll share it.
I'm a massive Anderson Silva Fan, as a kid my favourite movie was Kickboxer. I watched it at least once a week for 5 years and would always look away when that dude had his shin snapped in half. I'm ok with blood, broken noses, snapped arms but snapped shins had always been a thing of nightmares from the movie kickboxer. That shit happened to Anderson and It was the first time with all the brutality in the sport that I was sick to my stomach afterwards.
So anyways, last week I order a $50 pack of Topp knockout 2018 cards.. first UFC cards I get and I always wanted some Anderson Silva Memorabilia and hoping to get something related to him, so sorting through the cards I get a Paulo Costa (1 in 100 card), Signed Mighty Mouse (1 in 200) & a RRR card with a chopped up piece of the matt. Overall I'm happy, no Anderson but I love MM and Costa. Can't stand RRR but whatever she's famous, I could trade / sell it in the future. I flip the card over and read that the mat is from UFC 167, I jump on google to see which card that was and it was the card I've wanted to avoid for the rest of my life and right in my hands is a piece of the matt Anderson Silva was rolling around in holding his snapped leg in.
