Alright, listen up, haters and doubters, because I'm about to drop some knowledge on you. Colby Covington has the potential to be the greatest fighter of all time, and I'm gonna tell you why.

First off, let's talk about his trash-talking skills. This guy can roast anyone like nobody's business. He's got a mouth on him that could make a sailor blush, and he's not afraid to use it. He's talked smack to everyone from Kamaru Usman to LeBron James, and he always backs it up in the octagon. You can hate him all you want, but you can't deny that he's one of the best trash-talkers in the game.

But it's not just his mouth that makes him a potential GOAT. It's his skills in the cage, too. He's got an impressive record of 17-3, with wins over top fighters like Robbie Lawler, Rafael dos Anjos, and Tyron Woodley. He's got an insane pace and volume, and his striking is no joke. Plus, he's got a wrestling background that gives him an edge over a lot of his opponents.

And let's not forget about his cardio. This dude could run a marathon and then go five rounds in the octagon. He's got some of the best conditioning in the game, and he's not afraid to push the pace.

So yeah, haters, Colby Covington has the potential to be the greatest fighter of all time. He's got the trash-talking skills, the fighting skills, and the cardio to back it up. You might not like him, but you can't deny that he's a force to be reckoned with.

"first off, let's talk his trash talking skills" - has nothing to with this nonsense idea that a mid thirties fighter can somehow defy all odds and become goat. Since when is shit talking part of the criteria to become best ever? Have you any idea how many wins he would need to get to become goat? You really haven't thought this through. Dropping knowledge my arse.

There might be some truth to the brain damage Colby received from Masvidal if he thinks he deserves a title ahot.

case is simple, it was colby or usman. We know usman has lost to Father Time now so Colby is only one left. Obviously getting KO'd by leon did not help but it wasn't usman's knees, it was just his age. Anyone in their 30s or been through 30s knows it. One day you feel young then one day you wake up and realize you're not as fast as you were just 6 months ago.

Of course, unless you're yoel romero then none of that applies.

Too little too late. My man is 35 and has had that chin checked a few times. There are also obviously other strong grappler as it usually is at 170. He won't be able to overwhelm everyone with his wrestling like he did Masvidal and a few other old timers.
