Morono deserves alot of credit getting as far as he has.

An 11-4-1 UFC record is actually insane considering he's one of the least athletic male fighters I can recall. Speed, power, strength, coordination, balance, explosiveness, timing, durability.... He is so lacking in everything. Just skilled everywhere and can grind out wins somehow.

If Ponzi isnt shot he should beat him and by knockout too.

What about Curtis - Buckley to take that spot?

I think theres a high likelihood of Curtis/Buckley turning into a low volume sparring match.

Quarantillo/Hernandez has a real chance of turning into a back and forth war.

If not Quarantillo/Hernandez, then potentially Da Silva/Salvador, since it should be a crazy fight for the two minutes it lasts

Morono is a solid meat and potatoes fighter who's worked hard for everything he's accomplished as he isn't a great athlete and doesn't have one equalizer to even out a fight. Ponz should beat him, but he's looked worse for wear over the last few years with age and injuries catching up to him. If he can't beat Alex, the writing is on the wall.

Nice!

Not a bad replacement, hopefully Ponz pulls it off.
