At my work they have a vitality program for their employees. It consists out of a physical test, workshops, and 10 personal training lessons. You can voluntarily do the vitality program.

I do the vitality program because I find health very important.

Yesterday, I had my first personal training lesson of the program. The personal training was 1 hour.

5 minutes warming up
3 x 12 incline bench press
3 x 12 squats
3 x 12 deadlift
3 x 12 lat pulldown
3 x 12 seated dumbbell press.
10 minutes cooling down.

And with little rest between the sets.

Lol, Superman doesn't need to work out. Just stay away from kryptonite, bru.

If you need them take their knowledge the first few sessions and do it on your own. Save some cash, have a couple friends that were trainers.

also be aware if they say “the reason you haven’t lost weight is you’ve put on muscle “.

Are you a beginner lifter? If so, I think this full body split makes sense.

I was about to go find a link to a good video that explains the different type of workout splits. But, when I opened YouTube, some woman who is a fitness/twerk instructor appeared, and I got distracted.

Damn she appears on yours too?
All I did was look up posterior chain workouts one day and now she won't go away.

Training is good for those that will not work out without it. After 20 lessons, if you haven’t figured out how to work out on your own.. Well.

If there’s a specific “thing” you want to do that trainer can introduce you to, like mma/boxing/grappling, outdoor activities of a varied nature, or something else, well then it can be worth it to get started in something.

I haven’t been to the gym in a while, but I’ve been in the local mountains three times a week doing an average of 8-10 miles with weight on me at an elevation of 4400’ to 5200’. I feel pretty darn good.

That sounds like a good full body routine tbh.

Used to work as a personal trainer.

I felt like a really inexpensive therapist.

People hired me to burn off some energy and vent about work.

I wonder which was more beneficial for my clients: exercising or venting
