The 2014 action thriller Kingsman: The Secret Service was one of that year's biggest surprise hits, grossing $414 million worldwide. Last year's sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, made a similar amount at the box office, so it's no surprise that a third movie is now on the way. It has been reported that it will arrived next year.

The news comes via industry analysts Exhibitor Relations. In a tweet they stated that Kingsman 3 will hit theaters on November 8, 2019, with Matthew Vaughn returning as writer and director. Vaughn helmed the previous two movies, as well as the first Kick-Ass.

Now Playing: Kingsman 3 Is On The Way, Release Date Confirmed - GameSpot Universe News Update

If the November 8 date sounds familiar, it's because it was date that the next Jame Bond movie was scheduled to be released. However, the loss of director Danny Boyle last month meant that the Bond film has moved back to February 2020, with True Detective's Cary Fukanaga now directing.

While no further details about Kingsman 3 have been announced yet, it is expected that stars Taron Egerton, Colin Firth, and Mark Strong will return. Given the release date is now just over 13 months away, expect more casting details to emerge soon.

Rumors of Kingsman 3 first appeared last month. According to The Hashtag Show, the movie will feature two new characters, a "young, cocky and charming son of a British Duke" called Conrad, and an older man Ralph Fiennes is reportedly under consideration for. It has also been reported that Vaughn is planning a prequel spin-off titled Kingsman: The Great Game.
