The Chelsea billionaire has not been seen at a first-team game this season since his visa issues with the British government last summer.

The 52-year-old ended up securing an Israeli passport and is aiming to be in Azerbaijan for next Wednesday's final, as Chelsea look to secure their first European title since 2013.

Plans are currently being drawn up for Abramovich to fly into the host city although there is the chance of a last-minute change of heart.

The Blues came out on top, finishing third in the top-flight to secure their place in next season's Champions League, while Arsenal came fifth.

The Gunners need to beat the Stamford Bridge outfit next week to earn a place among Europe's elite again.
