A new Star Wars and Roblox partnership is encouraging players to build their own spaceship to earn special in-game rewards, ahead of the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker this December. The 'Galactic Speedway Creator Challenge' is available to everyone, and aims to help teach coding and game design to young players. If you're interested, signing up is as simple as going to the Roblox Creator Challenge page and following along with lessons that will teach you how to design, code, and create your very own driftspeeder — which you can use to race against other players in-game. The Star Wars-Roblox partnership began today (November 19, 2019) and will run through January 6, 2020.If you complete all of the lessons and build your very own driftspeeder, you'll be able to earn five Star Wars themed in-game items, which can be seen in the list below. Further, everyone who plays Roblox will be given a Kylo Ren Reforged Helmet for free, even if they elect not to participate in the Galactic Speedway Creator Challenge.
