Nick Rhodes And Wendy Bevan Release Astronomia III: Heaven And Hell In The Serpent's Tail [OrcaSound] Astronomia is a 52-song, 4-volume project being released as 4 albums. Astronomia III: Heaven And Hell In The Serpent's Tail [YT Audio playlist] came out on September 23, 2021. It can be heard (or purchased) on these online services. (Previously: Astronomia I, Astronomia II)

Expansive and evocative, each track will see a video released each week. [Ed. note: they seem to have abandoned this schedule entirely, but I still hope.] The videos so far: Meteor Shower.

A full page of all the Astronomia videos so far. [Even this isn't up to date. I suspect the new Duran Duran album release cycle is causing distraction.]

These are pretty cool, I had no idea they existed. It's like cosmic new wave along the lines of Biosphere or even Vangelis. I'm definitely going to listen to this back catalog.

Awesome! Time for me to get all of this.

It's really a lovely project, right in there with everything that made the Cosmos soundtrack's electronic tracks so great. Otherworldly is an adjective I think Nick and Wendy would be proud to have applied to the entire series thus far.

One more left, in December! See you then!

(Unless more videos are posted... they will land here until this thread closes. But, I'm not holding my breath.)

Any word on whether they plan to release physical media when the last release drops? Right now all the links seem to be digital only, but I'm hoping they'll have a good physical package when it's complete. Loving part III so far.

I haven't seen anything about a physical release as of yet. If I do see something about that, be certain I will post about it.
