Last time I remember this thread, the nurses involved all had an ulterior motive: they were all biatchy at their employer and hatched a scheme to all get knocked up at the same time so the hospital would have to give them maternity leave at the same time and be forced to deal with a shortage and/or hiring temp nurses.

Of course, just like in this article, it was whitewashed into some sort of "happy coincidence."

Merely speaking as a lowly male support worker who learned his place very quickly. Nah, the nurses are great, the Md's tend to be a bit eccentric.

Lulz.

The "what's in the water" thing became a joke at an old job of mine...it seemed like half of the women who worked in sales and marketing were pregnant.

Side note:

A friend of mine kept knocking up his girlfriend, and he also home brews.  So any time we came over to his house and tried some of his brews, we joked about being careful the next time any of us had sex.

That totally happened. Because women have kids merely to spite their employers.

I've spent a lot of time in hospital and under home care over the past 2 years and I'd just like to say that I love nurses soooo much.  The are officially my favourite members of the medical profession.  They have taken such good care of me that the room is getting dusty as I type this.

So a big THANK YOU! to nurses everywhere.

That series is longer than the entire collected works of Ken Burns. I think they'd be better if they had the Civil War violin music playing while everything was going on.

It is not fun, trying to schedule around multiple women who keep getting pregnant, need to be on restricted duty, then need to take months off for maternity, then need to spend another month retraining when they come back. And also to spend time/money training temp/part time employees for the time they were gone, then have to figure out what to do with those well-trained employees once they're not "needed" anymore.
And no the answer is not to give men equal time off.

Who Flipped The Crazy Switch On The Matrix: I saw a documentary on the intertubes about 9 nurses becoming vigorously involved with their patients.

By any chance, Were these Nine Nurses also Nubile, Naughty, and/or working the Night shift?

WiredMann: Pregnant women are hot!!!

I don't generally find them any different from non-pregnant women... But here's a CSB to make fark your personal erotica site. I was recently speaking with a pregnant coworker who was sitting 4 feet in front of me. She is also fairly attractive, and is what toxic masculinity used to refer to as "a spinner". She was sitting with her legs crossed up on her chair - which had the effect of greatly illustrating lowers, while she was rubbing the top of her belly, which meant her hands were also rhythmically jiggling her enlarged uppers. It was a lot of fertility at once. I preemptively spun my chair back around and looked up some documents I didn't really care about just to divert my attention elsewhere.
Can't blame me for having eyes, especially when I politely shoved them back in my skull and pointed them elsewhere.

Really?  You had to ad that lame "toxic masculinity" reference?  Do you also do that when you use the term "MILF"?
