Former Wisconsinite. Yes I do enjoy Wisconsin beers. I have been known to make runs to Beloit or Milwaukee to pick some up for friends and neighbors that I have introduced to the joys of these brews. I'll be up there this weekend for a funeral and probably bring back some more.

They sold in northern Illinois years ago and found they couldn't meet demand in Sconnie, so it is Wisconsin only ever since. Sooner or later, someone will buy them out and they will go national.

I haven't had beer since January.  There just isn't a safe place to buy it down here, too many plague rats in the store.  Maybe next month I'll visit Santa Fe and buy something from a specialty wine/liquor store.

I'll be drinking some homebrew later today. Got a keg of fresh hopped pale ale on tap, and have 5 gallons of wheat beer fermenting that I'm going to throw 7 pounds of peaches into. It's been a good brewing year.

I don't understand people like this.  Even in threads about specific sports, movies, tv shows, bands, etc.  There will always be that one Karen who has to poke their nose into the thread to tell everybody that they don't watch that thing that everybody is talking about.  Good for you.  Now fark off. Nobody cares.

I have a Chocolate Stout and Belgian Tripel I made that are still conditioning.  As quality cannot be rushed and I am only drinking on Fridays until I get back down to my fighting weight, I will not be cracking them open tonight but I am looking forward to them with great anticipation.

Today is my 1 year work anniversary and I am officially off probation and considered full-time and nearly impossible to get rid of. Gonna drink my lunch (again) today!

Congrats on the year. I'm approaching 6 years with my company, and hopefully will be here another 19 or so. Find a good career with a company you love, and stay until you no longer feel fulfilled, or you want to retire.
