Promising review: "I used 1 liter Aquafina bottles. I soaked the terra cotta pieces in water and watered the plants first. Then filled each terra cotta piece with water after I put it in the plant soil. The green spout that attaches to the water bottle just sits in the terra cotta part. It lasted almost six days on most of my plants. The one big one that got the most sun used the most water and was out in three days. So there is no real way to tell how long you can go until you put it into your plants. However, I am very pleased with this purchase. These are durable and well worth the money." —NTX Mom

Promising review: "Very nice 13-piece set of indoor gardening tools. I wanted tools that were kept together so everything was handy when the mood struck to garden. I also wanted a decent quality, so I wasn't constantly replacing tools. This set exceeded all expectations. If you are into succulents, cactus, or green and/or flowering house plants, this is the set for you. The scissors are sharp with a very short blade, tweezers or pinchers for picking off tiny leaves, a small scoop and a smaller scoop for placing soil or rock, a blower and piped watering tool, a brush to clean small plant leaves and a couple of plastic tools perfect for picking up things that might hurt you like cactus or miniature rose bushes. Then of course the spade, shovel, and rake are just the right size for potted plants. The set came in a reusable zipper bag, perfect for keeping your tools together!" —Cathy

Promising review: "Fiddle leaf figs are my favorite plant to accidentally kill. I like to keep buying them but I can’t keep them alive... until I bought this fertilizer. These two twigs (in my pictures) seriously had one crusty leaf left each. I started using this fertilizer and they started sprouting these green baby leaves! It made me feel like I was winning at life 😆. I give it to the plants once a week. I think the price point on this product is kinda high but it’s liquid gold, like the elixir of life and I’ll keep buying it." —Mary Monaghan Chesney

Promising review: "This meter works perfectly. I guess I always overwatered my plants as they kept dying on me. They always looked dry on top but now I know they were actually soaked. This tool helps me keep an eye on the right moisture and making sure my plants stay hydrated but not soaked." —123goal

Promising review: "I had a double knock-out rose tree/bush that I planted last year. It grew beautifully until this mid-summer and then started dying at random. It was bare bones and my mom mentioned buying this stuff to revive it. So, I did. I pulled back the mulch, sprinkled about a cup and a half all over the 1 foot diameter of ground around it, spread the mulch back over it and watered really well. It's been about three weeks now and my rose is coming back to life!! There are new shoots, branches, and flowers! I can't believe it!! My rose is beautiful again. Miracle stuff! Just be aware that you should NOT use this stuff around vegetable plants or herbs that you plan to eat because I think it's kind of toxic. Also, this container is a lot more than I'll ever need for 1 rose this year. It could probably revive 15-20 roses." —myrn

My husband is a proud plant dad and swears by these bottles. Our home is covered with all kinds of succulents and small plants, so he uses these to give 'em all a quick spritz before heading out for work in the morning. He's yet to kill a plant so he must be doing SOMETHING right.
Promising review: "These spray bottles are working great for watering my succulents. I have not tested them with anything but water, at this point. The wider, misting spray setting is great for wide, shallow pots with a lot of exposed soil. The narrowing, more targeted stream is great for watering between stems so I don't get the leaves wet. So far they are holding up, and they look nice in my home." —Stasya

This light features a gooseneck that'll let you adjust how much light your plant receives. It can provide up to 360-degree illumination and has three different lighting modes.
Promising review: "I haven't had it up very long, but there is already a difference in my plants. They were getting kind of pale. I love that you can aim the three lights all in different directions, and they can be dimmed if needed. I know now what my fellow plant loving friends will be receiving for Christmas." —Janice M. Promising review: "I love Miracle-Gro Water Soluble All Purpose Plant Food!!! Years ago I worked in an office and there was a Poinsettia plant that had seen better days. My coworker was going to throw it out but I told her to let me try to revive it so I used Miracle-Gro as I used on my house plants. I took a gallon of the Miracle-Gro and water (mixed according to the directions) to work and nursed the plant along. It was like a Miracle (Gro) when right around Christmas the Poinsettia plant I cared for displayed the bright red leaves!!! The other people in the office had told me the plant would die so you can imagine their faces when they saw the results of me using Miracle-Gro!!!" —Doug W.

Promising review: "My African Violets were drooping and dying. I am a 'distracted plant lover.' I love the look of plants and flowers but have held many trash can funerals because of light or water neglect. I have killed almost all plants. I purchase at different locations so I cannot be tracked. I purchased the small pots. I have two plants and they are thriving less than 24 hours after being placed in these pots. I will pick up a third plant today and buy some more of these pots. I am also going to go big and get some orchids! They usually tremble when I come by. Not anymore." —CafeMami

Promising review: "Handy and simple. Saved my vacation! I had seedlings that needed to hit the dirt fast — and plane tickets. Most of my plants can handle not being watered for a few days, but not seedlings. If I don't get them in the ground they will die on my kitchen counter. If I don't water them, winter planting is a bust. What to do? Get a timer for my drip hose. Just turn it on at the time you want it turned on and select the minutes (up to 60). Then each day following at the same time it will water for the amount of time you selected and turn off." —The Cook

Promising review: "I wasn't worried about this being too loud since I sleep with a fan on, but before I even turned on the fan I had to check that the humidifier was even on.... That's how quiet the first setting is, but you can feel the difference in the air. I'm sleeping better and my plants seem to be happier. I only use it while I sleep, maybe have to refill every other day.. just so it doesn't run out in the middle of the night. No gunk, or leaking. I do have a cookie sheet underneath just in case, like the instructions say." —Gillian Francoeur

Promising review: "This little watering can is perfect for around-the-house watering. Small enough that it fits into kitchen and bathroom sinks for refills, and the long spout makes it easy to reach under low-hanging leaves. It doesn't hold a ton of water, but you probably don't want to be lugging a huge watering can around the house anyway. This watering can is also extremely well-made, and even attractive. It almost seems a shame to put it away in a cabinet." —Andy Simmons

Promising review: "Really great guide to houseplants. I am an experienced outdoor vegetable gardener, who has never had much success with houseplants. The only one I've ever been able to keep alive is, George, my un-killable Aspidistra (Iron Plant). Thanks to this book I now have a little forest of air cleaning plants, succulents, retro '70s plants (rubber plant, and Swiss cheese plant), and even two indoor banana trees — all healthy and happy. Even George is happier than ever, with new leaves. Thank you!" —Jo
