Her message came after Britney penned a note on Instagram where she talked about "independence" and "equality."

"In a world where you have the right to use your feet 🦶… heart ❤️ … mouth 👄 … eyes 👀 … and body… to express yourself however you may 😁 !!! Declaration of INDEPENDENCE … for equality and to be equal 🤝 !!! Not even touching, covering, and holding me against my will for 4 months!!!" Britney reportedly wrote in the now-deleted post, alongside of photo of her and J.Lo at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2001.

Going on, she also shared a meaningful quote from the "Get Right" singer. "As Jennifer Lopez once said 'You look right down that camera and tell every little girl in the world to get loud and never ever back down to giving light to injustice' ☺️ !!! I’m here to share that freedom is a state of mind !!! GOD BLESS U ALL❤️❤️❤️ !!!" Britney added.

While it's unclear what motivated Britney's post, it came right after she got into a public spat with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

If you missed it, it started after the former background dancer — who was married to Britney from 2004 to 2007 — did an interview with ITV News where he revealed that their children are not "seeing her right now" out of embarrassment over her nude Instagram photos.

“I try to explain to [Preston and Jayden], ‘Look, maybe that’s just another way she tries to express herself.’ But that doesn't take away from the fact of what it does to them. It's tough," he said.

Britney acknowledged that "raising boys is never easy for anyone," but her husband, Sam Asghari, stated that there was "no validity to his statement regarding the kids distancing themselves."

"It is irresponsible to make that statement publicly,” he went on. “The boys are very smart and will be 18 soon to make their own decisions and may eventually realize the ‘tough’ part was having a father who hasn’t worked much in over 15 years as a role model.”

It’s great to see Brit getting some support from her peers!
