‘one park drive,’ the first residential building in the UK to be designed by herzog & de meuron, has announced the release of three apartments known as the ‘level 32 sky lofts’. the cylindrical london tower is divided into three distinct sections: spacious loft apartments that take up floors 02-09; the cluster section of residences layered to maximize space in the mid-section; and the large bay units toward the top of the building. this structure creates a one-off design opportunity on the 32nd storey, where the cluster and bay typologies meet.

forming the centerpiece of ‘wood wharf’ — canary wharf’s new district — one park drive will contain a total of 483 luxury apartments as well as a range of on-site amenities. with prices starting from £2.75 million ($3.9 million USD), the newly released apartments offer spacious rooms, tall ceilings, and 1,300 square foot terraces — accessible from all major rooms. the interiors, designed by bowler james brindley, respond to herzog & de meuron’s cylindrical design for the building, offering sweeping across of london.

one park drive was launched in march 2017 and the sky lofts were not made available in the first phase of released apartments. residents of the 58-storey structure will benefit from a lobby with concierge, a library, plus a screening room. there will also be a modern health and fitness suite, including a gym and 20-meter swimming pool overlooking the docks as well as a steam room and sauna. see designboom’s previous coverage of the project here.
