Kelvin Long has been funded by the Limitless Space Initiative to complete his computational modeling of Inertial Confinement Nuclear Fusion propulsion systems. This will build up from basic physics to complete spaceship propulsion. He has had his own personal computational modeling but he will make it modular and clean it up for an open-source system that is usable by others. The modular approach will let antimatter propulsion and other propulsion systems to leverage the code.
It will let spaceship designers vary the size of fuel pellets and the type of fusion ignition and see how changing parameters impact performance.
