I really do like this main event. It's creative matchmaking, and it may be putting Pettis at a disadvantage due to weight class, but I still like it.
Besides the main event, there's not much interesting going on here besides just a night of fights. Curtis Blaydes is noteworthy and so is Angela Hill on the prelims but it's not like either are muse-see fights.
This fight is happening about eighteen miles from my house, but I haven't been to an MMA event in a number of years, and honestly, it's something I usually just prefer to watch at home.

I see Cormier is taking a page out of Ricky Hatton's book regarding how to eat in between fight camps.

sorry just a random rant for how stupid commercials can be"I would fight anyone of the UFC LW's, but the problem is that I will never put my foot in the octagon after they (UFC) tried to be funny, I would rather have bleeding hemorrhoids than fight for the UFC. I wouldn't be opposed to height regulation per weight class. This 6'3" fighting at featherweight is BS IMO. They don't even look in the same weight class.

Does the US military heavily invest in UFC now like they do the NFL? Or just a feel good story?
