my BJJ gym has just reopened. I have not trained since March due to lockdowns and overall COVID. overall i am not excessively fearful of the virus. do all precautions and such. I am unsure on whether to return right away, maybe wait 1 or 2 months and see if gym has any outbreaks or whatever. obviously grappling is high risk for transferable diseases as it is.
any of you return to training specifically grappling?

Been training since early April, in the park (wrestling) for the first few months. Last few weeks a few of us signed up to another weights gym, so we can use their mats upstairs. Our regular weights gym is open but the mats room is not open yet. Still training like a gangster.

Built a 400 square feet garage academy in early June when Cuomo said he may not open gyms until a vaccine. Taking precautions, always washing the mats, have a temp check when coming in, even the slightest runny nose people stay home. No problems yet. Went from a small group of 5 coming in and out and now we have quite a few people rolling in and out of here.
